Novel coronavirus has exerted an important influence on the cause of organ transplantation worldwide. Organ transplants affected by the initial novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) are gradually recovering, but it is inevitable that more and more potential organ donors will be infected novel coronavirus. As China adjusts the relevant prevention and control policies on COVID-19, the screening rules for organ donors should also be carefully adjusted. In the case of scientific selection and informed consent of transplant recipients, we should consider the possibility of using organs from COVID-19 rehabilitation donors and non-lung organs from novel coronavirus positive donors.
