Abstract:

T lymphocytes are the main effector cells of the immune response after lung transplantation. The level of lymphocyte subsets has an important influence on the immune status of recipients after lung transplantation. This article summarizes the immunological mechanisms of CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells and regulatory T cells, as well as their roles in primary graft dysfunction, acute rejection, chronic rejection, immune tolerance and infection after lung transplantation. Finally, we discuss the clinical significance of detecting T lymphocyte subsets after lung transplantation.

Key words: Lung transplantation, T lymphocyte subsets, Regulatory T cell, Primary graft dysfunction
