Abstract:

Organ transplantation is currently the most effective way to treat end-stage organ failure, but it still faces problems such as graft dysfunction, rejection and tumor recurrence. Reasonable selection of transplant recipients, real-time early warning of postoperative complications, accurate early intervention, and individualized treatment are the guarantees for better prognosis. In the era of precision medicine, liquid biopsy is one of the non-invasive detection methods with great development prospects. Almost all molecules in body fluids can be ′captured′ by liquid biopsy. The details carried by these molecules can then be applied to guide clinical diagnosis and treatment after. Due to the unique molecular characteristics of organ transplant donors, recipients and grafts, the application of liquid biopsy is promising in organ transplantation.
