Research progress of neurologic complications after heart transplantation

Abstract:

Heart transplantation is an important therapy for end-stage heart failure. The success rate of heart transplantation continue to increase as the progress of surgical technique and the use of immunosuppression. Neurologic complications, however, are still common post-transplantant complication, including immunosuppression-related (such as CNI) neurotoxicity, stroke, encephalopathy, central nervous system infections, and malignancies in central nervous system.
