Abstract:

Donation after cardiac death (DCD) has been one of the important methods to increase the supply of donor organs, and the use of pediatric DCD has also gradually been paid more attention. This article reviewed the current status and research progress of pediatric DCD mainly focusing on the history, donor organ allocation, transplantation outcomes and ethical issues of pediatric DCD, hoping to provide reference for the clinical practice of pediatric DCD in China.
